As a senior leader, the Construction Director will manage cross-functional teams, including project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors, to drive projects from inception through to completion on time and within budget.

This role will ensure adherence to UK construction regulations, health and safety protocols, and company standards. The role requires a strategic, decisive leader capable of driving complex projects to success while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
What We Expect Of You
- Lead end-to-end project management, from planning through to completion
- Develop and implement strategic construction plans aligned with company goals and potential new works streams
- Develop and manage departmental budgets aligned to organisational goals
- Oversee project budgets, forecasts, delivery and schedules, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation
- Report regularly to the Managing Director on project progress and financial performance
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and local authorities
- Ensure all sites meet UK regulatory and quality standards, prioritising safety and environmental compliance
- Identify and mitigate project risks, solving issues proactively
- Manage and develop a high-performing team, providing leadership, direction and feedback, to support their professional growth
- Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 10 years in the Construction or ICP industry
- Ability to align construction operations with business goals
- Strong grasp of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Proven record of building and leading high-performing teams, and building succession pipelines
- Proactive in identifying and mitigating project risks
- Confident in reporting to Managing Director and Executive Board
- Skilled in managing senior relationships
- Track record of delivering large-scale projects (£10 million +)- Familiarity with project management software, and data analytic tools
- Change management experience in leading organisational or procedural changes
- Experience across commercial, residential, or public sector projects
