We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Concrete Project Manager to lead and oversee concrete-based construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning, team coordination, and concrete construction standards. This role requires excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
•Develop comprehensive project scopes, budgets, timelines, and execution plans for concrete construction projects.
•Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing consistent communication and managing expectations throughout the project.
•Coordinate and lead meetings with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, owners, and architects to review schedules, progress, and key deliverables.
•Manage all project financials including cost tracking, billing, and resource allocation to ensure profitability and budget adherence.
•Ensure all concrete work meets or exceeds industry standards, building codes, and company specifications.
•Enforce job site safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and local regulations.
•Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum and quality.
•Maintain accurate, organized documentation including contracts, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.
•Quickly and effectively address any project challenges such as delays, budget variances, or quality concerns.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent industry experience.
•Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience, specifically in concrete or general construction projects.
•In-depth knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, and best practices.
•Demonstrated success in managing medium to large-scale projects from initiation through completion.
•Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
•Proficient in project management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, Sage, or similar platforms.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to remain composed and make sound decisions under pressure.
•PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is a plus.
•Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and local safety standards.
•Ability to travel to job sites as needed. Must be capable of walking, standing, climbing stairs, and working in outdoor conditions, including exposure to weather elements, dust, noise, and construction equipment.
