We are seeking a Project Manager to join our RLE Concrete team!
The Project Manager's primary responsibility is to manage, in collaboration with the Superintendents, the successful completion of assigned projects. The Project Manager is the lead for project financials, risk management, and customer relations. Occasional travel is required.
Responsibilities
•Oversee all aspects of concrete projects from planning to implementation, billing and closeout
•Allocate resources for assigned projects
•Manage the field and project team successfully and collaboratively
•Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with clients, construction managers, project inspectors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, government officials
•Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
•Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
•Use project management and scheduling software consistently and accurately
•Responsible for managing project financials, billings, change orders, and cost procedures
•Responsible for financial oversight of field labor
•Conduct team meetings, owner/architect meetings, and safety audits presenting job costs, scheduling updates and project status reports at regular intervals
•Firm grasp of job estimates components, drawings, and specifications to properly oversee change orders, and work with Estimator on costs.
•Attend company and industry events including meetings, trainings, workshops, etc.
•Other related duties as assigned or needed
Qualifications
•Minimum 5 years project management experience working on commercial concrete construction projects.
•Must have solid understanding of the concrete industry, job site safety requirements, contract management, planning and scheduling, budgets, concrete building products, and relevant technology, i.e.. Procore, Tekla, On-Screen Take-Off, MS Office Suite
•This position requires a high level of fluency reading plans, specifications, and related project documents
•Key competencies are leadership, initiative, communication, teamwork, managing for results and coaching & mentoring
•Must be deadline and detail-oriented
•Must have valid Driver's License
