The Concrete Carpenter Foreman will supervise and coordinate the work of the concrete crew, with a focus on forming, placing, and finishing concrete structures. This role provides on-site leadership and management for concrete-related operations. The Foreman serves as the Company’s representative and main point of contact on the jobsite for concrete construction activities.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
•Ensure a safe work environment and enforce compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
•Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications related to concrete structures and layouts.
•Review the project with the Superintendent to verify readiness and address any concerns before mobilization.
•Supervise and direct the daily activities of concrete crew members under your supervision.
•Oversee formwork installation, rebar placement, concrete pouring, and finishing to ensure accuracy and high-quality results.
•Monitor concrete operations to ensure proper alignment, elevation, slope, and surface finish according to specifications.
•Coordinate equipment, tools, and material deliveries to maintain workflow and minimize downtime.
•Communicate effectively with the Superintendent, Project Manager, and other trades to ensure project objectives are met.
•Maintain accurate daily reports, crew timecards, and documentation as required.
•Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
•Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete construction, including formwork and finishing.
•At least 2 years of experience in a foreman or crew lead role preferred.
•Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
•Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
•Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
•Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to drive a company vehicle.
•Construction OSHA 30 preferred
•This is a union position.
