Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery and equipment within our plant environment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting. The Plant Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of concrete products while adhering to safety standards.

Duties

•

Operate concrete mixers and other related machinery to produce high-quality concrete products.

•

Build and fabricate components as needed for production processes.

•

Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on equipment.

•

Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory management and material handling.

•

Perform machining tasks as required to ensure precision in product specifications.

•

Operate forklifts safely to transport materials within the plant.

•

Execute concrete finishing techniques to meet project specifications.

•

Weld components when necessary, ensuring structural integrity and quality.

•

Engage in concrete forming activities, preparing molds for production runs.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.

Experience

Candidates should possess experience or familiarity with the following skills:

Operating concrete mixers and understanding their functionality.

•

Building and fabricating components relevant to concrete production.

•

Mechanical knowledge that supports troubleshooting and maintenance of machinery.

•

Experience in warehouse operations, including inventory control.

•

Proficiency in machining processes that contribute to product quality.

Forklift operation experience is preferred for material handling tasks.

Skills in concrete finishing techniques that enhance product appearance and durability.

•

Welding experience is a plus for structural component assembly.

•

Knowledge of concrete forming processes that ensure accurate production outcomes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.26 - $26.81 per hour
