Ace Resources, LLC is seeking a Compressor Technician to support our client’s field operations. This role will focus on maintaining and optimizing natural gas compression equipment to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.

Position Overview

The Compressor Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of company-owned compression packages and associated equipment. This role also provides feedback on operating practices, forecasts parts and materials for assigned units, and supports field operations with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Primary Responsibilities

· Execute routine maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime.

· Adhere to all company safety policies and practices as outlined in the Company Safety Handbook.

· Maintain natural gas compression unit run time at or above 98%.

· Gather, record, and report operational data critical to unit performance.

· Oversee and participate in the installation of new compression packages.

· Maintain critical spare parts inventory to support operational readiness.

· Ensure units and surrounding areas remain clean, organized, and safe.

· Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Education & Experience

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Minimum of 3 years of gas compression experience preferred.

· Caterpillar/Ariel certifications and experience strongly preferred.

· Experience with High-Pressure Gas Lift type compression is a plus.

Skills & Knowledge

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

· Experience operating commercial-sized vehicles.

· Intermediate to advanced diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.

· Ability to read and understand written and verbal communications, including procedures, technical manuals, and training materials.

· Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Willingness to work extended hours, including periodic on-call weekends and days off.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

· Majority of work is performed outdoors under variable weather conditions.

May require occasional lifting of heavy objects.

Physical ability to perform routine maintenance on gas compressors is required.

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
