We are looking for a Compressor Technician 1in our Service Center in Benicia, CA - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

What you’ll do:

- You’ll be based out of our Benicia, CA service center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle

- You’ll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and there is a potential for travel

- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of Oil Free Compressors, power generators, diesel engines, and electrical distribution equipment

- Troubleshoot equipment failures, breakdown equipment, and handle shop repairs and refurbs.

- You will either be out on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites

We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:

- High School diploma/GED

- 3+ years of experience working on Oil Free Air Compressors or power generators, electrical distribution equipment.

- Conceptual understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, start/stop of electric motors and VFD’s is a plus.

- Practical electrical knowledge with logic controllers, contactors, and relays.

- Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card

- Valid driver’s license

- Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs
