POSITION SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, this position will assist field support personnel and third party customers in securing parts for emergency breakdowns, field maintenance and stock inventory. Parts used on compression units and other related oil and gas equipment may require research using unit manuals, supplier websites, corresponding with applications, engineering and/or sales personnel and reviewing internal company inventory. Sales quotations are generated and provided on a regular basis to third party customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: may include any or all of the following.
•Ensure orders are prepared accurately to include correct parts, pricing and shipping instructions.
•Establish and maintain rapport with customers and deliver the best service possible.
•Identify potential business, sales leads from inquiries and communicate information with the outside sales staff and others as needed.
•Some discounting and price negotiations may be handled directly with the customer based on specific guidelines.
•Responsible for running reports on sales activity, inventory requirements, and forecasting per customer requirements and agreements.
•Work with Accounts Receivable to set up new customers, run credit checks, set up ship to addresses in the ERP system and process credit card purchases.
•Pull from stock and prepare parts inventory for shipment. Post out inventory by hand or via scanner.
•Demonstrate good understanding of ERP system.
•Assist with other inventory and customer service matters to include on-call assignments.

•Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, respond to management direction; take responsibility for own actions; keep commitments; complete tasks on time or notify appropriate person with an alternate plan.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Education & Experience:
•High school diploma or GED equivalent and 5+ years of related experience and/or training is required.
•Industry related experience is a plus.
Computer skills:
•Adequate level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Applications.
