Combustion Technician

High School Diploma or Equivalent is required

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Ability to stay driven while working remotely

Possess an understanding of all applicable electrical codes

Experience in mechanical, electrical and instrumentation field

2 years of experience in field service work

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach, climb steps and use ladder

Lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to push/pull

Vision to accurately read all related distribution documents and computer monitor screens

Must have good mechanical aptitude and knowledge of various types of mechanical equipment

Mechanical equipment commissioning & troubleshooting experience

Control panel systems experience with oil field applications

Must be able to prioritize workload and organize tasks

Must be a self-starter & highly dependable

Must possess good command of the English language in both written and spoken form

Must have strong communication skills with all levels of employees and customers

Must be extremely aware of safety procedures and protocol

Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

Driver's License (Required)

Installs, commissions, maintains, and provides training for various types of gas and oil production and processing equipment, including Burner Management systems in a field environment while being directly responsible for job safety and completion

Responsible for assisting in aftermarket service sales and will have a key role in identifying new business

Supports a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible

Responsible for installation and repair of electrical, electronic, and pneumatic components on combustor packages, generator units, pump units, and ignition systems

Troubleshooting of electrical control panels, generator control panels, generators, and switchgears

Inspect existing control panels to insure proper function and application

Installation and startup of equipment

Provide remote technical support to field operatives

Assist Field Service crews with equipment repairs and maintenance as needed

Maintain paperwork and field tickets for billing purposes

Flexibility to work hours necessary to meet customer requirements

Maintains Company truck and ensures all required maintenance is performed

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and rules

Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude

Other duties as assigned

Work on manlifts, 50 foot or greater

Outdoor work requiring heavy physical labor

Worker is subjected to weather elements and must be accustomed to performing tasks in potentially adverse conditions

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous related experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.
