Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
•Directs and coordinates all major functions of the facility to promote growth and development consistent with company goals.
•Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day to day operations to exceed our customer’s expectations.
•Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
•Responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping.
•Ensures organization and manpower is adequate to attain division objectives.
•Reviews and approves division programs for consistency with company policy and goals.
•Maintain a high level of quality and safety awareness.
•Ensures continued facility compliance with NOV Quality System, HSE, and EMS requirements.
•Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
•Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions as necessary.
•Responsible for all shift activities and 100% on time deliveries.
•Directs and/or attends scheduled staff meetings.
•Identify all materials and/or tools needed to operate day-to-day activities and ensure these materials are readily available.
Requirements – Reference the Training Checklist Competency Verification form TC-62-01.
•Proven work experience as a Coating Plant Supervisor
•Knowledge of the NOV Tuboscope Quality System, including the Quality Manual, QSP’s, SOP’s, LOP’s and related documents.
•Knowledge of NOV-Tuboscope HSE Requirements for Employees and the Facility.
•Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources.)
•Ability to create accountability and lead by example.
•Knowledge of company industry standards, and customer specifications.
•Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Tuboscope Gold and JD Edwards ERP system.
•Knowledge of the Tuboscope’ s Behavior Based Safety Program.
•Excellent communication skills with customers and company employees.
