COAL YARD TECH

JOB SUMMARY:

Cleans and maintains orderly condition of coal handling facility areas including inside and outside

premises of buildings and grounds as assigned. Duties involve a combination of the following: sweeping,

dusting, shoveling, washing coal conveyor belts and using a wheel barrow as required. There will be heavy

lifting in the process of removing refuse and debris. The dusting duties will include high dusting of

fixtures, equipment and designated structures. This job requires working as a team member to accomplish

tasks and will be working at locations at great heights over grated flooring. There will be use of high

elevation walkways and catwalks to access areas to be cleaned. Also may include using water hoses or

pressure washers to wash coal conveyor belts, work zones and equipment.
