Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, programming, and the ability to read blueprints accurately. The CNC Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring production efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities

•

Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and electrical discharge machining equipment.

•

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances.

•

Program CNC machines using appropriate software to achieve desired specifications.

•

Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.

•

Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure precision in machining processes.

•

Conduct quality inspections of finished products using basic math skills and measuring tools.

•

Troubleshoot issues that arise during the machining process and make necessary adjustments.

•

Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.

Experience

•

Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

•

Familiarity with programming languages used for CNC machinery is preferred.

•

Experience with welding, plasma cutting, tooling, and other machining techniques is a plus.

•

Strong understanding of basic math concepts as they relate to measurements and calculations in machining.

•

Ability to read blueprints accurately is essential for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
