Larson Systems Inc is a leading manufacturer of spring testing machines, kennel products and parts for other industries. We design and manufacture quality products. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Waterjet Machine Operator to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Waterjet Machine Operator will be responsible for operating CNC waterjet cutting machines to produce parts and components to exact specifications. This position requires technical skill, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Operate and maintain the waterjet cutting machine
•
Load and unload materials and parts onto the machine table.
•
Read blueprints.
•
Set machine parameters and monitor cutting operations for accuracy and consistency.
•
Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure quality standards are met.
•
Perform routine maintenance and report any issues to supervisors.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
•
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
•
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
•
1+ years of experience operating a CNC waterjet machine preferred.
•
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
•
Familiarity with CNC programming and G-code is a plus.
•
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
•
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
