This position is a 1st shift position (Monday to Friday 7am-3:30 pm)
Will be setting up and operating CNC thread grinding machinery/ conversational programming. Inspect and check all elements of threaded gages. Will be operating optical comparator and lead checker, microcator, gage blocks, micrometers, etc. Will be gaining working knowledge of all tasks required to finish product to specifications. Determine appropriate grinding wheels needed to complete jobs. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Follow preventative maintenance schedules. Must be able to run more than one machine simultaneously.
Working knowledge of blueprint reading is necessary. Must have a minimum of High School diploma. Ability to understand and work with addition, subtraction, multiplication, geometry, division, percentages, and simple mathematical formulas is a must. Team attitude is a must. Reliability and process focused is required. Problem-solving mindset is needed. Ability to work independently is needed. Must be willing to resolve challenges with various departments. Must be able to use all required measuring tools to complete job.
Ability to stand over an 8 hr period. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Work environment is a manufacturing plant.
