Orano is seeking an EXPERIENCED CNC Press Brake Operator / Machine Operator to operate a 300-Ton Hydraulic CNC Press Brake in TN Fabrication's NC facility in Kernersville/Greensboro.
Under moderate supervision, this position will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating a 300-ton Press Brake in our Kernersville, NC facility. The qualified candidate will have the experience, background and knowledge to work with this equipment.
- Set up and operate 300-Ton Hydraulic CNC Press Brake machine to bend and form steel using the numeric sequences.
- Interpret engineering drawings and translate requirements into press brake CNC controller.
- Knowledgeof press brake tooling required to produce parts meeting specifications.
- Perform both visual and dimensional inspections to quality standards.
- Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials.
- Follow all travelers/routers and machining procedures, and complete and maintain paperwork as required.
- Perform other machine operation or manufacturing processes when needed.
- Play an active role in creating a safe and healthy workplace and comply with all applicable safety and health rules.
- Metal rolling machine operator experience a strong plus.

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position:
- Minimum of two years Press Brake operations experience required.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures pertaining to position.
- Quality and detail oriented.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient with measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, protractors, etc.).
- Knowledge of press brake tooling required to produce parts meeting specifications.
- Ability to work without direct supervision / self-motivated.
- Must possess mechanical aptitude.
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and remain standing for long periods of time.
