CNC Operator Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a background in operating CNC Plasma Table, This role requires precision attention to detail and the ability to manage an in stock inventory of Parts that have been cut using the Plasma Table; Must be able to understand basic sets of drawings. The operator will be responsible for producing High- Quality components while using our Shop forklift to Load Aluminum and Steel sheets onto cutting surface and removing Newly Cut parts from Table and proceeding to clean the sharp edges and organizing them in our Stock room for Shop use all while adhearing to Safety and Quality Standards.

Responsibilities

- Operate and Monitor CNC Plasma Machine.

- Programming CNC Machine using appropriate Software and techniques.

- Conduct quality inspections Daily.

- Operate hand tools and fabrication equipment to assist in the production process.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

- Collaborate with Shop Foreman on assembly tasks, tooling setups and Deadlines to meet production Goals.

- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance as needed.

- Utilize forklift for material handling within the facility.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

- Proven experience as an operator is desired or in a similar role within manufacturing.

- Experience in machining, press brake machine operation, Iron Worker , and plasma cutting equipment.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.

- Familiarity with basic math concepts for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.

- Experience in quality inspection processes to ensure product specifications are met.

- Knowledge of welding techniques is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
