CNC Mill MACHINIST WANTED IN OWASSO, OK

Local, family owned & operated for over 25+ years Machining/Manufacturing company in Collinsville, OK, seeking an experienced, talented CNC Machinist.

An industry leading, climate-controlled machine shop designed to meet client specifications in machining & manufacturing of high-precision components & parts for various other industries nationally.

Major functions:

Must know how to setup a CNC Mill

Duties:

Ability to do set-ups and operate a variety of machine tools such as CNC milling machines to make parts, and tools to close tolerances. Perform machine set-ups, machine adjustments, edit programs & become self-sufficient. Determines sequence of operations and method of setups. Uses a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Make standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds and speeds. Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED. 5+ years and/or demonstrated experience setting up and operating Drilling or CNC milling center. Setting up and operate machine tools, lathes and milling machines. May have a demonstrated expertise in a particular machining process or machine type or work on one single purpose machine which may involve multiple machining processes. Convert raw materials into a finished product with little supervision. Able to produce quality parts from blueprints while maintaining very close tolerances. Experience with standard shop math relating to dimensions of work. Vocational education a plus. A team player who enjoys producing world-class products every day. May be required to read blueprints, perform, varying levels of shop mathematics associated with machining operations, and perform inspection procedures to verify work.

Day shift available: Monday Thru Thursday 10-hour days. Health & Dental, Vision and Life Insurance available.
