 Role Description

This is a contract and remote role for a CNC Machinist. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and adjusting machines, performing routine inspections and maintenance, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of manufactured parts through adherence to specified tolerances. The role requires a focus on efficiency, safety, and quality standards.

SWISS LATHE, GRINDERS, SOME MANUAL MACHINING, MILL EXPERIENCE

Ogden, UT

1st shift: (Mon- Fri 6:30am - 3pm)

2nd shift (Mon-Thurs 3pm to 1:30am) - * shift differential

Weekend Shift (Fri- Sun 5am - 5pm) - 36 hours- * shift differential

POSITION SUMMARY:

- Sets up and operates various conventional and/or numerically controlled machining centers on the most complex and difficult jobs. Works from blueprints, sketches, planning sheets, verbal instructions, and/or engineering, tooling, or equipment information. Contributes to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs. Works independently with minimum guidance in a team environment.
