CNC Lathe/Swiss Program Set-Up & Operator

Job Overview

Program, set up, and operate a variety of lathes and Swiss turn machines to produce precision parts using Fanuc Control System. Generate programs from part models in Mastercam or hand program, Submit first article parts for inspection.

Duties

1. Program, set up program and operate for production. Set up machine select correct tooling; set work coordinates; run first article part.

2. Machine parts to dimensions/tolerance specifications using precision instruments, such as micrometers.

3. Maintain machine to keep in proper operational condition.

4. Make modifications to program as needed.

5. Work with engineering, supervisory, or manufacturing personnel to recommend modifications for improved efficiency or adaptability.

6. Track time and data into the ERP system.

7. Must work additional hours, if needed, to meet customer delivery schedules.

9. Experience at least 5 years

Benefits

1. 4- 10 hour shifts Monday thru Thursday (5:00am to 3:30 pm)

2. Holidays” New Year Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day (10 hours paid)

3. PTO 40 hours first year, 8 additional hours each year after until you reached 120 hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
