CNC Lathe Operator (Experience Required)

About us

Cleveland Machine Company, Inc. is a small machine shop located in Cleveland, Texas. We are a production facility largely running the same parts in various sizes. We produce parts as small as 1/2" OD x 1" LONG and parts as large as 7" OD x 9" long.

We are looking for an experienced CNC lathe operator that pays great attention to detail. Operator must be capable of setting up machine (i.e. setting machine zero, setting tool offsets if needed, reading program to determine required tools). Operator must be willing to deburr parts after machining which is pretty minimal on lathe work.

All measuring tools provided, employee tools not allowed in shop whatsoever due to strict quality management system.

Normal hours are 7AM - 3:30PM (30 min lunch) but most times we are working 7-5. 48 hour week typical.

Health insurance and 401(k) available after 60 days. Paid holidays available immediately. 1 week paid vacation provided after first year of employment, 2 weeks after 2 years.

Employee may be required to perform other tasks as necessary such as hydrotesting, operating saws, stenciling components, order assembly, and hardness testing. Training performed as necessary. Entire shop heated/cooled.
