Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC lathes and will be responsible for producing precision parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of tooling, programming, and quality control measures to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

•

Operate CNC lathe machines to fabricate precision components as per engineering drawings and specifications.

•

Set up tooling and fixtures for production runs, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.

•

Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.

•

Program CNC machines using Fanuc controls, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance and output quality.

•

Perform routine maintenance on machines, troubleshooting issues as they arise to minimize downtime.

•

Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

•

Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed, including any changes made during operations.

Skills

•

Proficient in CNC lathe operation with a solid understanding of tooling and machining processes.

•

Experience with programming CNC machines, particularly with Fanuc controls.

•

Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers for quality assurance.

•

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints effectively.

•

Knowledge of milling machines, presses, welding techniques, and fabrication processes is a plus.

•

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
