Longhorn Geomatics is looking for a Civil and Survey Calculator/Drafter.Successful candidates will be eligible to work remotely from their home office. Residence in Calgary, Alberta, or in proximity to project sites, is not required.

Who is Longhorn Geomatics

Longhorn Geomatics is a Professional Land Surveying Corporation that has been providing surveying services to construction contractors in the Portland area since 2018. Longhorn was founded in Western Canada in 2007 to service Alberta’s natural resource industry. Ambitious teammates, a desire to diversify our services, and strong business contacts in Portland were the catalysts for our Portland based operations.

We utilize RTK GPS and robotic total stations to perform construction layout, earthwork take-offs, volume calculations, topographic surveys, and boundary resolutions, but we also work very hard at processes and communication. Anyone can learn how to press buttons on expensive electronic equipment, but it takes effective, efficient, and respectful communication amongst our teammates and with our clients to build successful relationships and unparalleled service. We don’t have employees, we have teammates. We don’t manage teammates, we manage processes. We remove fear and cultivate a respectful place to focus on our profession.
