Job Summary:

The Civil Grading Engineer with Hydraulic Experience will work along side Principal Engineers in design of substation sites along with other miscellaneous projects.

Duties/Responsibilities:

•

Graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering

•

Must have experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Mathcad

•

Experience preparing and reviewing storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPP) a plus

•

Experience with Civil Grading & Drainage, Hydraulics & Hydrology

•

Site layout, grading, drainage, erosion and sediment control experience a plus

•

Knowledge of preparing hydrology and hydraulic calculations

•

Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills

•

Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc.

•

Must have excellent skills in the following areas: documentation, organization, communication, and problem-solving

•

Must be able to multi-task and manage workload with minimal supervision

•

Must have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, schedule-driven department

•

Delegate tasks to designers on an as needed basis.

•

Performs other related duties as required.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Proficient with CAD software.

•

Work in our office location in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Education and Experience:

•

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
