We are seeking a visionary-yet-grounded Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who can lead day-to-day business operations, manage a dynamic team, and help build the company’s next era with operational excellence, strategic thinking, and a deep respect for brand integrity.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a founder-led environment but is ready to own the business engine—from backend systems to front-end sales. You’ll partner closely with the founder but lead independently, overseeing multiple departments, teams, and revenue channels.
You’ll need a unique blend of fashion industry insight, retail and e-commerce leadership, people development skills, and performance accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
•Build and execute company-wide growth strategies across all channels (retail, online, wholesale, etc.)
•Translate founder vision into actionable plans and organizational structure
•Continuously assess and improve internal systems for efficiency and scalability
•Lead quarterly and annual planning cycles and set/track KPIs across all departments
Retail & E-Commerce Oversight
•Ensure exceptional guest experience across all store locations and digital channels
•Set and monitor sales targets, conversion metrics, and customer satisfaction benchmarks
•Work with retail managers to improve performance, team morale, and selling culture
•Oversee buying, merchandising, and inventory planning in partnership with creative and finance leads
Team & Culture Development
•Directly manage senior leadership team (Ops, Marketing, Retail, etc.)
•Create accountability frameworks and clear KPIs by role and department
•Champion a healthy, high-performing culture with kindness, trust, and urgency
•Support hiring, onboarding, and leadership development programs
Financial & Business Management
•Partner with accounting and finance teams to manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
•Monitor profitability and cost control across all departments
•Lead quarterly reviews of performance vs goals and adjust course as needed
•Report progress and recommendations to the founder
You Might Be the Right Fit If You...
•Have 8–15+ years of leadership experience in fashion, retail, or consumer product-based brands
•Have led teams of 20+ people across multiple locations or departments
•Know how to scale an e-commerce business and manage multi-location retail without losing soul or service
•Are as confident building spreadsheets and systems as you are building people
•Lead with kindness, decisiveness, and a strong internal compass
•Bonus if you: Have worked in resortwear, luxury fashion, or destination markets like Hawai‘i
