JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Chemistry Technician WWT works with the maintenance, quality, and production teams to provide high quality metal finishing to customer specifications and dispose of process waste according to government regulations.
· Follow all safety rules including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) 100% of the time.
· Suggests improvements for safety, quality, and efficiency.
· Titrate chemical tanks on a timely basis and record titration results in database and make chemical additions.
· Temperature and pH control of process tanks.
Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the Chemistry Technician WWT is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and hazardous chemicals. The performance of this position requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, chemical resistant boots, Tyvek suits, gloves and any other PPE as needed. The noise level is moderate.

While performing the duties of this job, the Chemistry Technician WWT is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and move items over 110 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, .
