Cementing Supervisor

Duties:

- Manage and mentor personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure timely arrival at job sites.

- Plan and execute cementing jobs in line with client specifications and design requirements; demonstrate a thorough understanding of rigging in/out procedures.

- Execute cement jobs in accordance with the cementing operations process flow.

- Ensure efficient handling of day-to-day operations.

- Ensure critical tasks are completed on every cementing job, including but not limited to measuring the density of cement using a pressurized scale, collecting samples, utilizing radios on location, and blowing down all units and P-tanks after every job.

- Communicate effectively with clients and collaborate with internal departments such as Sales and Dispatch.

- Adhere to and enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with HSE legislation.

- Prepare end-of-well, end-of-month, incident, abnormalities, maintenance, logbook, and end-of-job tickets and reports, or other reporting, as required.

- Implement and uphold procedures that maintain high-quality service delivery.

- Build and sustain strong internal and external client relationships aligned with company values and objectives.

- Work with management teams to improve policy and procedures.

- Review and verify load tickets.

- Supervise a crew on basic primary cement jobs.

- Demonstrate the ability to operate any two of the core pieces of equipment.

- Participate in training and development activities.

- Other general duties as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From $1,080.00 per day

Experience:

- oil and gas: 5 years (required)

- Cement Supervisor: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate (required)

- Standard First Aid Certificate (required)

- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (required)

- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate (required)
