CDL Class A Local Driver

Salado USA is looking for hard-working and motivated people to join our Florence team.

The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for safely transporting primarily stone materials from various sites to the company quarry in Florence.

This position requires knowledge of commercial driving laws and regulations as well as demonstrated skill in maneuvering vehicles in difficult situations such as narrow passageways and on rough and uneven road surfaces.

The work can sometimes be physically demanding. In order to make sure transport materials are properly loaded and secured, they may need to crawl, climb, stand, squat, kneel, bend, or twist. They may also occasionally need to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Work is performed in an environment with exposure to a variety of elements including wind, rain, high or low temperatures, noise, dust, fumes, and moving parts.

They must also be motivated to work on their own and as part of a team. Strong communication skills are a necessary part of this position. They must be professional and courteous.
