Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier/Stocker to join our retail team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing transactions and maintaining stock levels. The ideal candidate will be friendly, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately.

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting with inquiries.

•

Perform product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.

•

Maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and accessible.

•

Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.

•

Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts.

•

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.

•

Upsell products when appropriate to maximize sales opportunities.

Requirements

•

Previous experience in a retail environment preferred but not mandatory.

•

Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.

•

Basic math skills for cash register operations and inventory management.

•

Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.

•

Ability to stock shelves efficiently while maintaining a clean workspace.

•

Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.

•

A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting products.
