Cashier/Store Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and provide them with exceptional service, you are the first person and the last person to leave a positive impression on our customers.

- Operate cash registers and scanners to process transactions

- Ensure accurate pricing by scanning or entering items into the system

- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision

- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area

- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints

- Answer phone call and assist customer or transfer to the correct department

- Collaborate with the team to achieve the highest customer service and attain sales goals

Skills:

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive shopping experience for customers

- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently

- Proficiency in using cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale systems

- Basic math skills to calculate totals, handle cash, and provide accurate change

- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required
