Position Description:

Responsibilities:
•Monitor and optimize gold processing circuits (crushing, grinding, roasting, leaching) to improve recovery and reduce costs
•Analyze metallurgical data and trends to identify issues and support operational decision-making
•Conduct metallurgical test work (lab and plant scale) to evaluate process changes and improvement opportunities
•Ensure accurate sampling and reporting for metallurgical accounting and production reconciliation
•Support troubleshooting and provide technical guidance to operations and maintenance teams
•Participate in project work and plant commissioning of new equipment or process modifications
•Promote and uphold safety, environmental, and compliance standards while contributing to team training and development
•Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equivalent Process-related degree required
•Knowledge of the principles and methods used in complex gold metallurgical and processing analysis required
•Hands-on practical application and process optimization with 1-3 years’ experience is highly preferred
•Ability to research, analyze information and draw conclusions, and take action to resolve operational, environmental issues, permit compliance, and problem resolution from an operating plan status required
•Proficiency in multiple software application and network platforms highly preferred
•Experience in manipulating and analyzing large datasets programmatically is highly preferred
•Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required
