We manufacture and distribute a diverse range of innovative fastening products including rivets, rivet nuts, and installation tooling, serving industries that build and connect the world.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer/ Planner to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will collaborate to improve and enhance the maintenance of our material supply orders in alignment with our demand profile and in accordance with our inventory, logistics, and production strategies.
Ensure material and component availability to support the sales and production schedules
Understand and manage all elements of supply and demand to meet on-time deliveries in support of company inventory objectives
Expedite critical or past due orders and revise purchase order dates
Participate in initiatives to reduce the overall lead time, improve delivery performance, and attain optimal inventory utilization
Collaborate with Quality Personnel to track defective products and to communicate and monitor internal and external corrective actions
Provide back-up support for supply chain functions including Purchasing, Logistics, Production Scheduling, and other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft office and experience with ERP systems
3-5 years total work experience including at least 2-3 years' experience in procurement, supply chain and inventory control
Procurement and sourcing experience related to raw materials supporting manufacturing operations
