Department Overview
The ITSM Tools team manages the integrations, assets records, reports, metrics and operations of the BMC Remedy and Pagerduty solutions.
Position Summary
The Business Process Analyst, Associate position will manage the timely assignment of tickets in the Remedy and Pagerduty queues. They will also be responsible for report running and metrics management within both BMC Remedy and Power BI/Powerapps. There will be minor involvement in documentation management through both RKM and Sharepoint lists.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
The salary range for this position is from $68,000 to $102,000
Job Responsibilities
•Performs standard root cause analysis and works with existing process reports and data
•Pulls data to populate standard reports
•Presents data and findings to senior peers or internal clients
•Learning to apply basic knowledge and development professional skill set
•Assists other Process Analysts business clients in analyzing established processes, practices and procedures as directed
•Communicates with peers inside and outside of the department providing information or exchanging data
Qualifications
Minimum:
•Bachelor of Science in Business, Statistics, Mathematics or related field or equivalent work experience

•Prior business process related work experience
•Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
•Basic end-to-end process (workflow) knowledge
•Basic knowledge of fundamental process root cause analysis
•Ability to learn new concepts quickly
