This is a high-energy, outbound role where your primary responsibility is to qualify new leads and set appointments by making 75–100 calls per day to prospective customers. You’ll focus on identifying decision-makers, uncovering potential SOW (Share-of-Wallet) opportunities, and scheduling meetings for our TBMs (Territory Business Managers), who will follow up in person to advance and close the business.
This position offers the unique opportunity to interact with key decision-makers across a wide array of industries—automotive, commercial, industrial, and wholesale—while learning the fundamentals of large-scale distribution sales. It’s also designed as a career-launching role, with clear potential to move into Inside or Outside Sales as you grow within Cadence.
- Making 75–100 outbound calls per day to targeted prospects across multiple industries
- Qualifying leads through discovery conversations and logging them in Zoho CRM
- Setting qualified appointments for Territory Business Managers to conduct in-person follow-ups and close sales
- Generating new leads from inbound calls, promotions, and prospecting lists from Zoom Info or internal resources
- Partnering closely with TBMs to ensure a seamless handoff of opportunities through the CRM- Base Salary + Monthly Bonus opportunities tied directly to hitting lead-qualification and appointment-setting KPI targets.
- Hands-on experience working with executive-level decision makers across diverse industries.

- 1 to 2 years of customer service experience with high-volume outbound calling experience
- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Demonstrates quick problem-solving skills and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (CRM tool preferred) with ability to learn
- Proven ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time
- Petroleum product or automotive distribution background is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
