Business Development Professional/Product Manager Company: PDS Energy Information
PDS Energy is seeking a BD/Product Manager to join our new Midland, Texas office and specifically support our Aquatrade platform. This role is responsible for engaging with regional clients in the Permian Basin, overseeing implementation and integration projects, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The BD/Product Manager will serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, driving both business development and successful product delivery.
- Lead business development efforts by meeting with existing and prospective clients to understand needs, strengthen partnerships, and expand Aquatrade’s market presence.
- Manage project teams for new client implementations, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all phases, including business process review, configuration, testing, training, and “Go Live.”
- Oversee software development enhancements, coordinating timelines, budgets, risks, and resources across internal teams.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities, pipelines, and performance metrics.
- Represent Aquatrade at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Support the product post-implementation, escalating issues as needed to management.
- Proven experience in the oil & gas information technology sector.
- Technical background with basic understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in business development, sales, or partnerships (experience level may vary by seniority).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to manage operational details.
- Self-motivated, results-driven approach.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Quickly learn new software applications from a functional perspective with minimal guidance.
- Perform under pressure while managing multiple assignments.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to also work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel is required to meet client needs and attend industry conferences/events.
