Business Analyst IV

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analyzing business processes, developing data-driven solutions, and supporting strategic initiatives. The Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery using industry-standard methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to support project objectives

- Develop detailed business process models and workflows using tools like Visio

- Design and optimize database structures, including database design for SQL Server and Oracle environments

- Perform data analysis using SQL, R, Python, and Bash (Unix shell) to extract insights and support decision-making

- Create interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, and VBA for data visualization

- Support project management activities within Agile frameworks, ensuring timely delivery of solutions

- Manage the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering through deployment

- Collaborate with technical teams to develop and test data solutions aligned with business needs

- Conduct analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation

- Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders through presentations and documentation

Skills

- Proficiency in Business Analysis methodologies and tools

- Strong data analysis skills with experience in SQL, R, Python, and Bash (Unix shell) scripting

- Expertise in database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle

- Experience with data visualization tools including Tableau and Power BI

- Knowledge of SDLC processes and Agile project management practices

- Ability to design databases and develop VBA macros for automation tasks

- Familiarity with analysis tools like Visio for process modeling

- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail

- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
