Broadband Program Manager

Overview:

Seeking a Broadband Program Manager to lead broadband infrastructure and access initiatives for underserved communities. This role involves planning, coordination, and execution of projects aimed at expanding affordable, high-speed internet.

Key Responsibilities:

- Improve broadband affordability, access, and adoption

- Coordinate with partners across public, private, and nonprofit sectors

- Develop strategies and prepare funding proposals

- Analyze legislation and funding opportunities

- Use GIS and data to identify broadband gaps

- Present to stakeholders and support policy development

- Apply for grants and manage project timelines and budgets

Requirements:

- Strong knowledge of broadband infrastructure and digital equity programs

- Experience with public-private partnerships and funding sources

- Must reside locally, work on-site as needed, and travel to project locations

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
