Beach/Pool Attendant

The Beach/Pool Attendant hired at The Addison Condominium are expected to be honest, courteous, and professional at all times. They will perform all residential services, equipment preventive maintenance and day-to-day operational tasks as directed by the Beach/Pool Supervisor. They will abide by all regulations, policies, rules, and special instructions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Training will include beach duties, café duties, operation of grill.

Open bar area, check temperatures of all spas’, pools, and record it.

Check and clean spas’, pools, deck, and bar areas daily.

Check and clean beach areas and set up cabinets daily.

Check and clean all patio furniture as required or needed.

Clean pads, towels, and umbrellas, and set up as required by residents.

Check and clean pool pump rooms and equipment as required by preventive maintenance schedule.

Check and clean cabana 15, 16, and break area as required by supervisor.

Report any deficiencies, safety violations, or problems to your supervisor.

Maintain professional courteous relations with all residents, guests, and staff personnel.

Maintain a neat personal appearance and be in proper beach attire at all times.

Report all residential complaints to the Beach Club Manager, or his assistant, or in their absence, to the General Manager.

Physical and Mental functions:

Stand or walk constantly (for up to an entire shift) on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet)

Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift

Bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform various duties

Occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds

Run as needed

Constant use of both hands and arms in reaching/handling/grasping/fingering while using phone, computer, and other administrative tasks

Constant use of eyes (correctable vision to normal level required) to observe, read, interact with owners, co-workers, vendors, etc. view security monitors; includes hand/eye coordination

Work in various environments including adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain or heat

Constant mental alertness and attention to detail required while setting priorities and following up on assignments

Pay: $16.00 per hour
