B-pressure/CWB by hand welder

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled B-pressure and FCAW/SMAW CWB Welder to join our dynamic team. (contract by hand preferred) To perform work throughout Alberta. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role requires proficiency in various welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Responsibilities

- Interpret and work from blueprints, and technical drawings to fabricate parts and assemblies.

- Utilize hand tools, rigging equipment, and machinery for the assembly of metal structures.

- Perform welding tasks using various techniques including MIG, FCAW, and stick welding.

- Operate plasma cutting equipment to cut metal components as needed.

- Assemble fabricated parts into final products while ensuring structural integrity.

- Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency in fabrication.

Qualifications

- CWB FCAW AND SMAW all position

- B pressure F3/F4

- CSO OR CSTS

- H2S Alive

- clean drivers abstract

- Proven experience in welding and fabrication; familiarity with hand tools and machinery is essential.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and technical documents accurately.

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
