We’re looking for an Automation Technician who knows how to commission, maintain, and troubleshoot oilfield control systems. You’ll be the boots on the ground for new installations, break/fix calls, and routine maintenance. ⚡✅
1. Commissioning new sites: configuring PLCs, verifying I/O, testing controls
2. Performing routine maintenance on panels, transmitters, valves, and VFDs
4. Working with Studio 5000 / RSLogix (Allen Bradley) to make small edits and confirm functionality
5. Reading and working from wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and cause & effect sheets
6. Supporting operations at well pads, saltwater disposals, and facility sites
7. Collaborating with programmers, electricians, and field personnel to get the job done
1. 3+ years of automation or instrumentation experience (oilfield preferred)
2. Strong understanding of PLCs, control panels, analog/digital signals
3. Experience with Allen Bradley, Fisher ROC, or similar platforms
4. Familiar with transmitters, HART protocol, Modbus, and SCADA
5. Able to work safely, independently, and on-call when needed
6. Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
