The essential job responsibilities of the Attorney 2 will perform intermediate level legal assistance to the Vice President & General Counsel in providing legal services for MLGW Division; defending / prosecuting lawsuits; drafting / evaluating contracts: compliance issue; and supervise, direct and train assigned employees.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements:

To perform the Attorney 2 role, you must:

- Have

a Juris Doctorate degree with 2 to 4 years comparable experience in the practice of corporate law.

- Have passed the State of Tennessee Bar Examination.

Havea valid driver's license from state of residence.

Works in inside and outside. Subject to hazards of investigative work and stress associated with heavy caseloads; interaction with people, sometimes in an adversarial climate; and changing / unpredictable events.
