Enfinity Global is looking for an experienced Associate General Counsel
to lead the legal strategy, negotiation, and execution of project financings and key commercial contracts across our renewable energy portfolio in the Americas. The ideal candidate will serve as a
strategic partner to internal teams, taking ownership of high-stakes transactions, particularly in
credit agreements,
EPCs, and
supply contracts.
You will be supported by legal staff responsible for
reviewing contracts line by lineand
building compliance matrices— allowing you to focus on leadership, risk allocation, and negotiation.
- Lead the structuring and negotiation of
project finance transactions
, including construction loans, tax equity, and long-term debt.
- Negotiate
credit agreements
, intercreditor agreements, and security documentation.
- Serve as lead legal advisor in lender and investor negotiations.
- Ensure commercial agreements are aligned with financing terms and project timelines.
- Partner with development, finance, procurement, and asset management teams across the project lifecycle.
- Provide business-minded legal advice to support decision-making and risk management.
- Align legal strategy with business execution and timelines.
- Oversee and guide legal team members responsible for reviewing full contracts and:
- Extracting obligations, deadlines, and covenants
- Developing and updating
compliance matrices
across financing and EPC agreements
- Ensure internal teams are alerted of upcoming deliveries and contractual obligations.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active license to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction.
- 8–12 years of legal experience
, with significant experience in
project finance
,
credit agreements
, and
renewable energy infrastructure
.
- Strong contract negotiation experience, particularly in financing, EPC, and supply.
- Experience managing and directing junior counsel or paralegals in contract tracking and compliance.
- Comfortable in a lean legal environment with high ownership and autonomy.
