Job Description

Position Overview

Commercial Analytics is responsible for assessing and communicating information about the energy markets to the New and Operating Business Groups. Analysts develop internal knowledge and views of electricity and gas markets, help provide project specific views of market risk (price, basis, curtailment/capacity factor) for projects during all stages of development and operation.

Responsibilities* Provide data and analysis of commodities, nodal prices, RECs, and other fundamental factors that affect development opportunities.

Required Skills* Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or Finance

Preferred Skills* Exceptional problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills* Master’s Degree in related field

Base Pay

90,000.00 - 102,000.00 USD Annual

Bonus: 20% - 30%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
