Assembly Technician

Ellis Fabrications Inc. is currently seeking a well organized and highly motivated individual to join our painting and hydraulic assembly department.

Position : Assembly Technician / Paint Bay Labourer

Duties include but are not limited to:

Carefully read and execute on hydraulic schematics, drawings and bill of materials

Maintain a clean work environment conducive to a hydraulics bay

Maintain inventory of common hydraulic parts/fittings.

Measure, cut and crimp hydraulic lines to proper size with proper fittings

Assemble various systems, function test and QC product before shipping

Assisting painters in loading / unloading / prepping / product for paint

Loading / unloading trucks

General shop housekeeping

Qualities we are looking for :

- Mechanically inclined

- Knowledge of hydraulics

- Industrial paint experience

- Forklift / overhead crane experience

- Familiar with hand tools and power tools

- Physically fit, as heavy lifting is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 80 – 88 per week
