The employee will be responsible for the assembly and repair of oilfield equipment in accordance with blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings and other written and verbal instructions.
- Read blueprints or Hydraulic Schematics.
- Assemble Coil Tubing Units, Pumpers or any oilfield equipment and subassemblies, using drawings, schematics and/ or blueprints
- Route hoses and make hydraulic hoses.
- Demonstrate proper use of calibrated power equipment, i.e., torque wrench.
- Ensure all components are clean when assembled and remain clean during entire assembly operation.
- Inspect, clean and install parts, equipment and components, according to drawings and specifications.
- Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts and changing work schedules.
- Adhere to all Company policies.
- Follow all quality, health, safety and environmental programs.
- Attend work per work schedule.
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
- Assist with system performance testing prior to customer testing.
- Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
- Keeps work area clean and hazard free
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Hand tools are required
- Possess all tools required for the position.
- Able to Lift 50 lbs. Work at heights up to 15 feet
