As an Assembler here, you’ll be part of our Manufacturing team located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Assembler works in a fast-paced industrial environment, maintaining the rental fleet and assembling new equipment for sale. Because of the short notice and urgent requirements typical in this area, this individual must be self-motivated and able to follow instructions well. He/she must be safety conscious and often is required to work overtime and weekends.
- Recondition pneumatic and hydraulic motors, electrical components, and heavy machinery.
- Assemble/recondition of industrial equipment under the instruction of a senior technician.
- Assemble equipment subcomponents, such as mechanisms, expansion sections, powered wheel assemblies, etc.
- From experience, resolve any assembly problems and report any other problems to lead for assistance.
- Think ahead and maintain a strong commitment to excellence and quality.
- Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings and schematics.
- Work as a member of a team.
- Responsible for supporting all quality measures and procedures.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs, standing and working on feet for 2+ hours- All other duties assigned, as appropriate.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prefer 1-2 years’ experience with industrial machinery schematics and assembly drawings or equivalent.
- Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Thorough knowledge and use of shop hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools.
- Operation of overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Demonstrate mechanical ability in the assembly and recondition of industrial equipment.
- Basic welding a plus.
