Job Summary

This entry level position utilizes technical and mechanical knowledge under direct guidance in order to assemble and package compression and production equipment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

- Interprets customer's specifications and applicable industry codes and standards

- Manipulates various tools to complete assigned tasks

- Utilizes electrical and mechanical skills to complete tasks

- Utilizes knowledge of structural layout, piping/tubing and electrical controls and systems

- Performs other duties as assigned

Job Specific Skills

- Ability to read and understand basic blueprints

- Basic understanding of wiring/piping schematics

- Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English

- Working knowledge of algebra and basic knowledge of geometry

Education & Experience

Minimum: High school diploma or GED and 0 - 2 years related work experience or an equivalent substitution for education of 4 - 6 years related work experience

Additional Qualifications

Knowledge of machines, tools, designs, uses, repair and maintenance preferred Intermediate welding knowledge preferred Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts preferred
