Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electrical Assembler to join our production team. This role is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting electrical and electronic components in accordance with specifications, blueprints, and work orders. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and fellow team members.
- Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
- Assemble electrical or electronic systems, subassemblies, and support structures using rivets, bolts, soldering, or micro-welding equipment.
- Position, align, and adjust electrical parts to ensure proper fit and function.
- Adjust, repair, or replace components to correct defects and meet specifications.
- Fabricate or form parts, coils, or structures using drills, calipers, cutters, or saws.
- Perform quality checks on products and parts to ensure compliance.
- Inspect and test wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits; record and report results.
- Measure and adjust voltages for operational accuracy of instruments.
- Complete production paperwork and maintain time, material, and waste reports.
- Mark and tag components for inventory tracking.
- Distribute materials, supplies, and subassemblies to work areas.
- Clean and prepare parts using solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
- Confer with supervisors or engineers to review work activities or resolve issues.
- Explain assembly procedures or techniques to coworkers as needed.
- Previous experience in electrical or electronic assembly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents.
- Proficiency with hand tools, measuring devices, and soldering/micro-welding equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plus
