Marathon Petroleum Company’s (MPC) Galveston Bay Refinery currently has a vacancy for an Area Team Engineer in the Engineering Department.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced, team-oriented engineer to join our Area Engineering team to provide technical guidance and mentoring to the new engineers as well as project management services and day to day technical support for a refinery operations team. Projects may include new capital projects and modifications needed to properly maintain and optimize existing operating units. The position will be based out of Marathon Petroleum’s Galveston Bay Refinery located in Texas City, TX.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

Project Management and Area Team Support* Serve as a technical mentor in the Area Engineering group

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:* Bachelor’s Degree (or above) in Mechanical or Civil Engineering is required. (Education must be obtained/completed prior to start date)
