Reports to: Operations Manager / Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Quality Assurance:
•Lead and supervise a team of fabricators, ensuring they are performing high-quality work according to company standards.
•Conduct regular checks on the quality of the fabricated materials and finished products to uphold the company’s reputation.
•Offer guidance and mentorship to fabricators to help improve skills and ensure consistent, high-standard work.
•Ensure that all team members adhere to the company’s safety protocols and quality guidelines at all times.
Equipment Maintenance & Management:
•Oversee the proper maintenance and functioning of all equipment on-site, including fabrication tools, machinery, and trucks.
•Perform regular checks to ensure equipment is in good working condition and coordinate repairs as needed to avoid delays.
•Ensure all tools and trucks are stocked and ready for use.
•Report equipment issues to appropriate personnel.
Project Communication & Problem-Solving:
•Serve as the primary point of contact for project managers, communicating effectively about site issues, potential delays, or challenges.
•Proactively identify site problems and propose solutions to minimize disruption to the project timeline.
•Report any changes or variances on-site to the bcd managers to assist in tracking and managing total work time.
Time & Materials Management:
•Monitor and manage the team’s time, ensuring work is completed efficiently and in line with deadlines.

Time Management & Efficiency:
•Organize the daily workflow for the fabrication crew, ensuring tasks are prioritized and deadlines are met.
•Ensure all tasks are completed on schedule without compromising quality or safety.
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus).
•3-5 years of hands-on experience in metal fabrication and a leadership role.
•Strong understanding of fabrication processes, quality standards, and materials management.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with fabricators, project managers, and other team members.
•Experience in troubleshooting and solving on-site problems quickly and effectively.
•Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
•Knowledge of equipment maintenance and safety protocols within the fabrication environment.
Preferred Skills:
•Familiarity with project management software or tools for scheduling and reporting.
•Experience in managing material inventories and tracking usage.
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
•Ability to lift materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs).
•Ability to work in varying environmental conditions on-site.
