About This Job

Apex Oilfield Services is a privately owned company providing rental equipment, service and support to the energy industry. We are currently seeking a full-time Apprentice Mechanic to work out of our Lloydminster, AB branch.

The Apprentice Mechanic will be responsible for :

•

Servicing and maintaining our winch trucks, pumps, tanks, generators, centrifuges and all other equipment in the shop and field

•

Maintaining a high standard of quality control and organization in the shop

•

Troubleshooting mechanical issues in the field and adhering to all industry HSE regulations and requirements

The desirable candidate will possess:

•

Enrollment in a Provincial Apprenticeship Program

•

Direct experience inspecting, repairing and maintaining generators

•

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

•

Ability and desire to learn, self-motivation, and the ability to prioritize tasks

•

Previous oilfield and generator experience is considered an asset
